Default Put Commando Skin in In Game Store

Title says it all. Make it the new costume because:

A. More money for ANet, which is awesome, cuz GW and GW2 are F2P

B. More fun for players. GET TO DA CHOPPA

GW isn't F2P, it costs money.

I mean they have the avatars from the past April Fools so why not just sell people "Stick Figure", "Gwen-chan", "Mini-Me" costumes?

The commando and others was a joke, having it permanently the game would just be plan dumb. Even if it was just a costume, this is a medieval fantasy game, guild wars doesn't have to be every game ever made. If I want to run around in a game with swat gear I'll go play Rainbow Six.

technically, the commando does fit in with the game lore, even though its completely ridiculous. ANet could justify by saying something like the Sgt left some equiptment behind after he left, and you character took it.

To me GW is truly F2P. You buy the game itself but after that you don't need to pay for anything else.
You try and play supposed F2P games, you'll find that to enjoy them you DO have to constantly shell out to get the best from them.

Oh and with regards to making the commando a costume /notsigned.

Can't say I'm in favor of having this offered as a costume in the store. They can't even fix the glitches with the current costumes! I wouldn't mind seeing something like a minipet or maybe a tonic, but definitely not something we have to pay for.

As for GW being F2P... grab a copy of the game from any store and try to leave without stopping at the register first. Let me know how it works out for you!

The game is free to PLAY, it's just not free to own. As long as you get an account by and means whatsoever you can play for free :P And also, the commando thing would be cool but would make absolutely no sense so I say no. Commando tonics and a commando EL tonic even? Sure. An actual costume, although I'd love it I'm gonna have to say no.

neat idea, however it WILL (unless they made a SUPER prank) be in GW2 woot!

strangely
/notsigned

reason: if you have a DMR? on your back, wouldn't you use it?

If they didnt have the gun, MAYBE, idk....
I LOVE the skin and skills but um.... in GW1 lore wise, I don't think it would work out. UNLESS they did a whole Terminator type thing haha. (advanced technology in the past, made by a guy in the future, being found again in the future and have it time traveled to the past again, looping around again, and again, and again, etc.

I have to agree with the crowd on this one.../not signed
see no reason for it and would rather they fix what is already broken than making more things to break.

Please tell me you don't really think it's going to be in GW2... if you do, go back and read the Commando page and see that it's weapons and even its description are a huge joke.

I can't imagine this costume spread in all outposts, really.

However, the B-day celebration is close and maybe mini Bane will be one 6th year mini pet.

Funny jokes get killed by repetition, particularly when it's not appropriate. Bane doesn't belong in a non-jokey GW universe, period.

I don't think it's so bad if it's a rare sighting (which would not be the case with store costumes...) Like a green mini, or a rare (and not eternal) tonic. Certainly no worse than the monster circus we currently have going on.

I'm not sure they have the skin rigged up for every class/sex variant either, which would be fine as a tonic/mini not requiring extra work.
